The Ministry of Education, Youth and Information is reporting steady pass rates in the number of students who sat Mathematics and English in the Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) over the past four years.

The Education, Youth and Information Ministry is welcoming the findings of a recently concluded study, designed to provide solutions to improving students’ performance in mathematics at the Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) level.

Three top Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) students have received scholarships valued at $50,000 each from Facey Commodity Company, under its Tang brand.

The Government is reminding parents that free text books are available for primary school children, while there is a book rental system in place for students at the secondary level.
